Here's Her Story...
Jamais E. Burts born to James F. Burts Jr. and Vanessa Campbell was born and raised in Bronx, New York. She is the mother of one vibrant daughter, Zion Imani Hill whom she calls, “her partner in crime.” She received her formal education in New York City public school systems. Upon her graduation in 2006 from Bronx School for Law, Government, and Justice she migrated to Baltimore, MD to attend the illustrious Morgan State University where she studied Social Work. While receiving her education at Morgan State she began to volunteer in the community and quickly gained a passion for the non-profit world. She quickly became a youth and community advocate. She has a passion to help underserved communities, youth, and all those in need. Keeping God first, she has been able to do just that. She currently serves as the Executive Officer for United Visionaries Development Group and a board member for Sisters Saving the City Inc.

In 2015, she decided to start her own business; Mais Getaways Travel, LLC to promote affordable travel to people just like her who loves the world on a budget. As traveling is one of her favorite things to do she thought it would be a great idea to be an entrepreneur while doing something she loves. Although she loves travel she knew she needed something more satisfying.

In 2016, she founded “She’s Dope LLC.” A brand dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs. Her services include; branding, social media marketing platforms, project management, and operations management. She also hosts networking events throughout the DMV area which allows fellow entrepreneurs to become empowered through networking with others.

For 2017 she is co-hosting the Women’s V.I.P. Conference which will be touring the cities of Richmond, Baltimore, New York City, Charlotte, Atlanta, and more. The conference will focus of empowering women spiritually, financially, mentally, and physically.

Jamais lives by the quote, “Never underestimate the difference YOU can make in the lives of others. Step forward, reach out and help. This week reach to someone that might need a lift” -Pablo. Her goal is to empower women to step out on faith and trail blaze the world by storm.
