This week we are honored to feature Christina Jiles - This Mamapreneur loves the Design and Décor of HOME
Growing up my Daddy was my biggest inspiration. He showed me what entrepreneurship looked like and what good customer service was. He raised and bred dogs and I was there to help him every step of the way until his passing.
As a young girl I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur and I am definitely thankful to be in this space. This is one of the main reasons it was so important to my husband and I to introduce our girls to entrepreneurship as well. I believe that it is a great way to gain life skills when it comes to speaking, sales and just believing in yourself and your creativity.
With two teen daughters (pre-teen at the time) who “have to have EVERYTHING” my husband and I figured a great way to teach them responsibility would be to teach them about entrepreneurship and utilizing their gifts and abilities. I set out to teach them how to sew and in the summer of 2013, we launched! It’s great because it teaches them how to hone their skills, trust themselves creatively and also how to offer great customer service when we attend events. Now that we have two high schoolers the thrill has gone for them but I continued to sew, create and grow. Once school is out for the summer they jump back on board and help with the shopping and design when they’re able so it really is a family affair!
When I’m not sewing I am usually at home being a total nerd. I love to read, watch documentaries and learn a little about everything! It is our birthright to create and when creators create, everyone wins!
My hustle is handmade home décor and personalized gifts! Over the years we’ve created many pillows, deco towel sets, and deco plates and we aren’t done yet!
Whats’s up Next?
We will be introducing our NGC Regal Collection in the Spring along with a new candle line and we’re looking forward to offering a bigger variety of all of our products from sizes to textures and everything in between!
