What’s your hustle?
My hustle is helping women overcome their fears of investing in the stock market. I created “The Stocks & Stilettos Society” for women investors and to introduce women to investing in the stock market.
Who/What inspired my hustle?
When I was younger, I was taken advantage of by a financial advisor who sold me high commission products and did not educate me on the investment products she had allocated my funds to. I never wanted anyone else that crossed my path to lose money because of a lack of financial and investment literacy.
How are you hustling up mamapreneurs to the next level?
I’m hustling up other mamas by opening up the world of investments to them. Many mamas know that they should be investing, but are unsure about how to get start. I make the transition from savings to wealth building a comfortable one with simple challenges that include an engaging and supportive community of women.
What strategies worked or are working for your business?
Networking with like-minded individuals and seeking coaching to accelerate my business has worked for me. Surrounding myself with others who are ambitious and have positive energy has helped me to keep moving forward. Mentorship and coaching has been beneficial to my business when I was able to align with others who were I wanted to be in business.
What are your “Mama words of wisdom”?
Self-care is necessary to rejuvenate and recharge. You have to take care of yourself emotionally, physically, and financially before you can take care of others. Make yourself a priority.
